We are very happy to announce that our 2025 MOTIVATE workshop will be co-ordinated in collaboration with the 4th workshop of the sPlot global vegetation database.
The sPlot workshop will bring together 50 researchers from around the world to discuss current and future projects using this global vegetation database. Together with MOTIVATE, we strive to develop new research ideas for time series data that is now included in sPlot 4.0.
The workshop dates are:
sPlot: 31.03 – 02.04.25
MOTIVATE: 02.04. – 04.04.25.
Both workshops will be hosted in the newly renovated university building at the botanical garden of Halle (Germany). Keynote talks on Mo 31.03. and Wed 02.04 can be attended online or in person after sending an email to:
